Logline: An emotionally-fragile teen, plagued by violent memories from before her birth, is set on a path of vengeance when she recognizes the voice of her bio mom’s killer who is now running for DA.
Why Me/ Why Now: As a victim of domestic violence, myself as well as a forensic nurse who works with domestic violence victims, I read the book The Secret Life of the Unborn Child. Babies in utero can hear and experience their mother’s emotions and events and repeat things afterward. Knowing that I look a lot like my own mother, I wondered if my father would ever admit how he treated her. I did a “What If”. would happen if I had heard my mother’s murder? What would happen if I was the only one who could recognize the killer’s voice.
“The Unborn” The Truth Is Only A Heart Beat Away. While in utero, a young girl experiences her mother’s abuse and murder. She vows revenge on the killer — her father.
